''Kristen Stewarts smärtsamma strippscen''
Som Starlounge tidigare rapporterat ska Kristen Stewart, 19, spela strippa i kommande filmen ”Welcome to the Rileys”. Nu berättar ”Twilight”-stjärnan att det var långt ifrån en dans på röda rosor.
— Jag dansade med en strippstång och fick blåmärken över hela benen. Jag blev helt blåslagen. Det sög, säger hon till E! Online.
Kristen, som för närvarande befinner sig på filmfestivalen i Sundance, förklarar dock att hon lyckades genomföra de smärtsamma scenerna.
— Ju mer jag såg dansen, ju mer ville jag göra det. Det var som ett märkligt slags självhat.
Regissören Jake Scott instruerade Kristen att gå på lektioner hos en riktig strippa inför rollen som blott 16-åriga Mallory. Det gav henne självförtroende att klara av uppgiften, men han förklarar att hon fortfarande var livrädd när det väl var dags att kasta kläderna på film:
— Hon var skräckslagen. Vi filmade på en riktig strippklubb. Det var smutsigt och jobbigt. Men hon gjorde en grym insats.

The Hollywood Reporter says “‘The Runaways’ works on a lot of levels, and will no doubt be a big hit with little effort” and “provided just the energy that’s been missing here in Park City. We needed it.”
MTV praises Kristen’s and Dakota’s perforamnces: ”Indeed, ‘The Runaways’ is owned and just about swallowed up by Fanning’s riveting portrayal of the singer (not too dissimilar from the way Currie overwhelmed the group). First glimpsed as a teen literally transforming into a woman, this is the performance that seems sure to launch Fanning into a new thrilling phase of her career. From a sulking broodish David Bowie enthusiast to a howling rock goddess Fanning sells sells sells. I’d watch that band. Hells yeah. Profligate prop sake consumption aside, Fanning, who turns 16 next month, and Stewart, 19, appear side by side in an overwhelming majority of the movie's scenes. The two are shown snorting cocaine in an airplane bathroom as well as getting very up close and personal in what is sure to become one of "The Runaways' " primary talking points: a make-out scene in a roller rink that takes place about two-thirds of the way through the movie.
The scene was inspired by a remark Currie made in the rockumentary "Edgeplay: A Film About the Runaways," made by former band member Victory Tischler-Blue.
"In 'Edgeplay,' Cherie mentions that Joan is really good in bed," Sigismondi said. "I thought, 'I have to pry into this a bit. It will cause an explosion in the film. Why not go there?' "

Stewart's acting career began at the age of eight, after an agent saw her perform in her elementary school's Christmas play. Her first major role was for the Panic Room, playing the sullen, diabetic daughter of a divorced mother (Jodie Foster).
In 2007, Stewart starred in Sean Penn's critically acclaimed adaptation film Into the Wild. After which she had a cameo appearance in Jumper and also appeared in What Just Happened.
In November 2007, it was announced that Stewart would play Isabella 'Bella‘ Swan in the movie Twilight, based on Stephenie Meyer's bestselling vampire romance novel. Stewart was on the set of Adventureland, in which she plays lead character Em Lewin, when director Catherine Hardwicke visited her for an informal screen test which "captivated" the director. After the release of Twilight, Kristen Stewart was awarded the MTV Movie Award for Best Female Performance for her portrayal as Bella Swan. Stewart reappeared as Bella in the sequel, New Moon, and will reprise this role in Eclipse.
