KRISTEN STEWART INTERVIEW: VAMPIRE GIRL TURNS ROCK REBEL
Kristen Stewart on the Twilight movies, playing Joan Jett and her alleged romance with Robert Pattinson.

On being part of Twilight:
“It’s just surreal to be a crucial part of a machine like this. I’m sort of the vessel. These girls are obsessed with Edward through me. If I wasn’t right, I’d be persecuted and put on a cross.”

On playing Joan Jett:
“It was tough because I only had a really tiny window of free time, but I wanted to make the movie. And I didn’t want to get any older because I’m already older than Joan was when she was in the Runaways. I just crammed it in, and hoped that it would work. And it did. It’s nice to switch to movies like this between Twilights, but I’m excited to go and do the next couple of years of Bella’s life.”

On being interviewed:
“It’s impossible to always get across what I’m trying to say, but, if I just stay honest, then I’m not going to look back on any of these interviews and wonder what I was trying to do or be.”
“I’m asked all the time in interviews about who I am, and I know a few people my age who have a strong sense of self, but I couldn’t say I know myself and sum it up and give it to you in a little package. I don’t know myself at all yet.”

On coping with fame and double standards:
“I’m 20, and, being a public figure, I’m supposed to present myself in a certain way, but it’s hard and you’re never going to be able to tell people who you are through the media,” she says hesitantly. “It’s sort of impossible. It’s much easier for a guy to say what he wants and not to be cute and funny all the time, but, if you’re a strong sort of woman, you’re just, for lack of a better word, a bitch.
“But I’ve been really lucky for a long time, and I’ve worked with amazing people, and I just hope that that continues. I don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have this.”

On styling:
“When I dress up, I have to have a lot of help. I was in a T-shirt until a few minutes ago.”

Is she dating Rob?
“I wouldn’t tell you anything about anybody I cared about because it becomes entertainment for other people, and it sort of just cheapens everything in your life,” she says firmly but pleasantly. “I would never tell you if I was dating anybody.”

Who spends more time on their hair?

Rob: “I have weird personal-space issues, and so I can’t stand people — um, I’ll do anything to not have any touch-ups.”

Kristen: “Rob. In a very childish way, in every aspect of his life. He’ll literally start talking in a different voice if he’s won something. He sounds like a five-year-old.”

Rob: “I’d say it was even. She said me? Really? When I really win things, it’s just like…” [Kristen is correct: He makes a noise like a five-year-old.]

Kristen: “I’m definitely claiming that one. Rob can barely jump rope. I call him Flippy because when he does his stunt rehearsals, he flips around [makes a gesture like a penguin]. And, God, when he tries to run …”

Rob: “Kristen. You notice it in the film; she looks so much more athletic than I do. And I’m supposed to be the superhero.”

Egotistical?

Kristen: “I’d have to say him. I hope he says him too actually. Like every time he looks in the mirror and he twists his hair. Actually, he could give a fuck about his hair. I hope that sarcasm translates.”

Rob: “It’s kind of a tie. We’re both pretty proud people. Her ego is more solid than mine, but mine has soared to such peaks, it’s ridiculous. Mine’s more erratic, but it can get to a point when it’s, like, godlike. Only in my eyes, of course. Sometimes just when I say hello the right way, I’m like, Whoa, I’m so cool.”

Who Googles themselves more?

Kristen: “Rob.”

Rob: “She would say me, but I reckon it’s her. If either one of us catches the other one doing it, we’re like, Jesus Christ, is that what you’re looking at? And the other one’s on their phone pretending to text. I look up my competition more than she does. I’m incredibly shallow. I think she just looks at herself.”

Who’s the better musician?

Kristen: “Rob. He’s a great singer. Heartbreaking.”

The most outgoing?

Rob: “I was once, but not so much anymore. Kristen’s a little more open now.”

Better sport?

Kristen: “Who can hang? Definitely me. He’s very sensitive. He’s got a fragile ego.”

Superstitious?

Kristen: “Rob. He’s a little bit more paranoid, so that feeds into superstition more.”

Rob: “I am. I believe a lot in karma and stuff. Like when I end up with egg on my face, I’m like, Fate! I was born doomed. But I think it’s more being an idiot than superstitious.”

And I was like, ‘Wow, I wonder if the people who thought I was bullshitting at the time are like, ‘Oh my god. That guy! That kid who was drunk in some bar actually wrote the health care bill!’”

Kristen: On Stature

“I’m 5’6″. I feel like I should be taller. I feel like I’m smaller than my mental stature. I should be 5’10″. 5’10″ would be very good.”

Rob: On Money

“I don’t spend any money. The only thing I’ve really bought is my car, which cost $1,500 and keeps exploding. It would be nice to buy a house for my parents, but at the same time my parents are so comfortable where they live; they would probably just feel like it was a burden. I wear the same clothes every day and the only thing I used to splurge on was DVDs.”

Kristen: On Acting

“Anything that I do for work, I’m nervous about. If I’m not nervous about it, then I shouldn’t be doing it.”

Rob: On Modeling

“I peaked at 12. There are so many photos from that time where I look unbearably awkward. I’d just be looking in random directions and stuff.”

Kristen: On Baking

“I make really good pie. Apple pie — it’s the best.”

''Are you all familiar with Lee Pace?

Well, Twi-hards, it’s time to learn and possibly fall in love because we’re hearing Lee is thisclose to being cast as the newest vampire in the next installment of The Twilight Saga.

So what role would cutie Lee play?

Pace, perhaps best known from the before-its-time show Pushing Daisies, is up for the role of Garrett, a friend of Edward’s (that would be Robert Pattinson, just in case you forgot).

The character is described in the script as a tall, nomadic vampire with sandy hair that he keeps tied back with a leather thong. Garrett is also penned as being down-to-earth, laid-back, rugged and having a lightness and element of humor about him.

”Lee is the top person in the running to play Garrett in Breaking Dawn,” a source tells E! News.

As we all know, Bill Condon is directing both Breaking Dawn films, and according to our insider, is ”hoping to take it in a more artsy direction.”

Just as long as it’s not a musical, eh?

Production on Dawn is slated to begin this fall, though no exact date has been announced. This up-in-the-air start could be affecting Kristen Stewart, but we’ll get to that tomorrow.

Lee Pace’s manager and publicist have not returned our request for comment, while Summit says no one has been cast yet for the role of Garrett.

Most recently L.P. could be seen in A Single Man and When in Rome.''

The next one. The most important role is always the one you’re about to face.

What’s keep you down to earth?
My family, my friends…what’s important is to not throw away what you have.
People get in trouble when they become someone else. So you lose the

choose The Gladiator. I really like super heroes movies like Batman or
Spider Man. I recently discovered Iron Man thanks to the wonderful
interpretation by Robert Downey Jr.

Is acting “your road”?
Now I’m happy to be an actor. I’d probably be an athlete right now but
acting involves both physics and psychology, so I can try so many
different things. I like to write too and, who knows, maybe someday I
can direct someone in a movie. But it’s too soon to talk about it.

The cover for New Moon, however, has a lot of opinions. Some think that the single petal dropping off the flower represent Edward leaving Bella, or the single drop of blood Bella bled at her birthday party. On the cover of Eclipse is a torn red ribbon, representing Bella's choice between her love for Edward and her friendship/love for Jacob, and also that Bella is unable to break completely away from her human life. The chess pieces on the cover of Breaking Dawn are a metaphor for Bella-at the start, she is the weakest, the pawn, but at the end of the series, she becomes the strongest, the queen.

Here is part 2 of the Eclipse movie portion of our Stephenie Meyer interview. Today we will talk Jasper's wig, Kristen Stewart learning to knit on the set, and Stephenie's favorite flashback scene in Eclipse and much, much more. DOWNTIME ON SET
We have heard from most of the Twilight actors that time in between takes is not their favorite. Stephenie was on hand for many days of filming found some fun ways to entertain herself.

Re-enacting scenes with Producer friend Wyck Godfrey sounds like a blast...I can't even image what is on Stephenie's cell phone in the video section! 

 

Do you think they got around to this re-enactment?

 

"Gina the hairdresser" taught Kristen Stewart and Meghan (Stephenie's assistant/BFF) to knit. Stephenie is getting a custom line of scarves made from Meghan! Remember all those pap shots of Kristen knitting and all of us wondering how that it into Eclipse? Well now we know but don't take our word for it!!! Listen for yourselves:

The background stories for the Cullens and the wolfpack help give insightful looks into why these characters are the way they are. They were are favorite parts of Eclipse and we wished they were longer. Damn you 2 hour movie! Stephenie wishes these parts in the Eclipse movie were longer also and says "maybe on the DVD extras!" But out of the 3 flashbacks; which is her fav?

TST(Kallie): Ok, I have a question… It's a little movie related we haven't seen it yet but in Eclipse we get a lot of background for Rosalie, Jasper and the Quileutes. Which I love, love, love! It’s my favorite part of reading those books, and getting to know the characters. So which of the backgrounds are you most excited, or have you been most excited to played out on film?

SM: I found Jasper’s really exciting.

TST(Kallie): That’s what I’m most excited about!

SM: I think that having read them… Well, when I was writing them I really liked the Quileute background.

TST(Kallie): I love the Quileutes, and so for me, I was so excited to see the third wife and all that but because reading of Bree (The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner) I am now so excited about seeing Jackson’s background being played out.

SM: They’re short in the movie, because they have to be. That’s always the heartbreak of them. The biology scene…it's so hard to get things, it kills you because you want to see Rob and Kristen do that.

LT: It’ll just be five hours long!

SM: Yah! So it was hard to have them shortened down. I think that Nikki Reed will surprise you in her section, she does so great!

TST(Kassie): I’m excited about that!

TS(Matt): She does so great!

Everyone: Arguing about spoilers! 

SM: She really did!

TF(Kim): She looked amazing!

SM: She looked good! The period piece was really fun! They did have to shorten that down, and there were things I was sad to loose. Again, hope for the DVD extras! I’m always looking forward to those. But Jackson as a human was awesome!

Everyone: We want to see it!

SM: And, I know there are issues with his hair… right!?!

Everyone: Laughing!

SM: I hear these things! I love his hair in this one. When he is human, and that hair in like the practice fight stuff. He had a mohawk for this because he just did Airbender. I always pictured Jasper with a little bit longer hair. I like it when it’s messy. When they kind of smooth it, it loses it for me, but I liked this one better because I liked him with the longer hair. We were really excited the first time we saw the wig pictures… We were like, “Oh! Nice!” You know, it’s different right? But that happens because they’re all people and, you know, they’re getting older. Vampires don’t do that.

Everyone: Yah!

TST: Awesome!



BRYCE, BRYCE, BRYCE

When something changes or gets added to our movies it really upsets us. Bryce taking the role of Victoria sent a serious fear for continuity through the Twilight fandom. It has all worked out in the end for most and we couldn't of asked for a more gracious actress to replace Rachelle Lefevre. Bryce is a fan of the saga and did her best to carry on Rachelle's legacy in a way that would make fans proud. What did Stephenie think of Bryce's performance and was, Bryce Dallas Howard, Stephenie's first choice for the role of Victoria?

Robert Pattinson says he is eating the healthiest he ever has, thanks to a food delivery service.

Twilight: Eclipse star Robert Pattinson can’t cook but is eating healthier than ever, thanks to a service that delivers fresh meals to his home every day.

“In Los Angeles I started using a delivery service which only delivers fresh and healthy food, Pattinson, 24, tells German newspaper Sächsische Zeitung. “Even in the morning I have a bag with healthy food delivered to me. I’ve never in my life lived as healthy as I do now.”

Robert, who lives a vagabond lifestyle because of his hectic work schedule, says there’s no place he can call home right now.

“My home consists of three suitcases which I live out of,” he says. “Everything is in there.

Unlike fitness fanatic Taylor Lautner, who works out nonstop and eats every two hours to stay buff, Pattinson is less concerned about weight and more about convenience.

“Of course I miss homemade food, but I’m on my own or on the go most of the time,” Rob admits. “And I can’t cook myself. I only just manage to make some toast. I don’t seem to have the genetic endowments for it. I’m incapable to tell what tastes good and what doesn’t.”

Ja, det har nog nästan alla faktiskt! :) Men som andra ser jag inte det som något dumt, jag tycker mest det är roligt att gå in där för han lägger ut ganska roliga skämt då och då! Man ser ju dock på kommentarerna hur mycket vissa twilight fans tar illa upp pga. det han skriver, tycker bara det är onödigt att säga sånt han vill höra! Han vill att ni ska skriva att han är dum etc! 
Som sagt, roliga bilder och sånt och tar inte direkt illa upp :)

Nu gör de reklam för Edwards bil, Volvo XC60, och med en gnutta eclipse i reklamen såklart!

Kellan, Boo Boo och Tinsel var medverkande i ''Do something Awards'', Kellan tog även hem ett pris i "Do something for the animals"! Grattis!

Idag är det en månad och en dag sedan Taylor och Kristen var i Stockholm!
